A great new resourceApril 25, 2010 MC(London, England) I bought this book because I saw a friend's copy and realised it would be a real asset to my resources as a learning support teacher. Lots of new ideas to entertain and instruct - am very pleased to have found out about it.
Great ideas and good valueApril 14, 2010 Reading Adventures(UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The ideas are good starting points or can be extended into larger "lessons". Some activities are suitable for younger/less able children and many can be used repeatedly with small adjustments as children's understanding increase/they get older. This book is great value for money especially in comparison to some bigger publishers' lteracy books. I would recommend it to teachers and home educators of primary aged children and it would still be useful as activities for older children too.
