5 out of 5 stars Great book   September 8, 2010

I found this book really helpful and easy to read. I like the way it is laid out and most importantly I understand verbs a good bit better now.

5 out of 5 stars The best book yet!   June 21, 2010

I bought this book around two years ago as it had excellent reviews back then for helping with verbs and grammar. I had previously used the "Teach Yourself" series and been frustrated at the random introduction of subjects without any explanation behind them. Other books had also failed to explain the reasoning behind the examples.

"Practice Makes Perfect" promised to be more structured and gives loads of opportunity to practice so you actually remember it! I've returned to this book many times to refresh my memory on areas that i'd become a little rusty.

By far the best book I have bought to help me learn Spanish. You can learn from this even if you have no previous experience of the language. I've just ordered the other book on Prepositions and hope it will be just as useful...

4 out of 5 stars the title says it all - practice that the key   June 16, 2010

i bought this book a few years ago when studying Spanish with the open university. i found it really good at explaining verbs. it takes you through step at a time and gives you the opportunity to practice and check your results. it a good tool for revision and it helped me to pass my exam.. it provides good examples of verbs and how to use them. it also points out areas where you can get confused and the common errors spanish language students can make.

i recently lent it to a friend who has started studying Spanish and she found it useful too. so much so, she decided to buy her own copy.

highly recommended to anyone who is studying the language as you cannot practice verbs enough!
