Further Education and College is a category containing texts for adults who are pursuing a vocational certificate such as NVQ, HND or HNC, or just wanting to learn more about a particular subject. Some titles in the FE category may not quality as textbooks per se, but can be thought of as study guides for various areas.
The vocational section is divided up into various areas, such as Beauty, Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Secretarial, Tourism and others. Many of these texts will be aimed squarely at preparing for the requirements of various certificates in particular fields. Others will be highly specialized study guides or workbooks for technical knowledge required to succeed in a chosen profession.
