fab food fast September 1, 2010 Gonzo (Ireland) This is a fab book, very easy to follow and much better than any take away chinese, once you've sampled some of Chings easy delish dishes you will never want to eat from a take away again. Try the fantastic battered king prawns .....pure heaven mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Not just one more cook book August 18, 2010 Sandy I have many Chinese cook books and am proud to add this one to my shelf. It's beautifully presented, easy to follow and inventive in dishes. After having watched the author on television I was impressed to see that her recipes were as simple as she suggested and remarkedly tasty.
good August 2, 2010 The book was good, loads of tips and good easy recipes, more pictures would have been even better
A Book handy to have on your shelf July 21, 2010 K. Vincent (Bedwas, Wales) I had followed the series and the book wasn`t a dissapointment, once you have all the ingredients and have them ready to hand it literally takes minutes to cook each meal.I must admit I did tweak and add extra ingredients such as onions to the Chicken, green pepper and black bean sauce but the book is a good basic guide to Chinese cooking.
Excellent cookbook July 13, 2010 Charmsy I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Chinese cooking. I was so surprised at how easy it was to get a taste similar to that of an Asian restaurant standard. What's best is that the cooking is done in the confines of your own home and therefore you know what's going in to the preparation.
Coming from an Asian background and now residing in Australia, I love Chinese food and missed being able to just venture a few metres from my home, down to the local hawker centre and ordering a dish of Chinese delicacies. Now, Ching-He Huang has brought Asia to my home. Thank you, Ching :-)
Chinese Food in Minutes (2009) is a more recent publication to Chinese Food Made Easy (2008). I like the fact that in the recent publication, preparation and cooking timings have been included in the titles. This helps me to select recipes easily, based on the amount of time that I have to spare or to plan ahead.
In both her books, her recipes are simple and easy to comprehend.
To conclude, if you love Chinese Food, then I would highly recommend that you add this book to your shopping cart and purchase this either for yourself or as a gift.
Happy Cooking.
