| Customer Reviews: Excellent value April 29, 2010 Ms. N. S. Y. Loi I bought these notes to prepare for my English A2 exam on the recommendation of my English teachers. They are comprehensive on the play and extremely useful in writing essays.

I enjoyed this but think it's written with teenagers in mind - good primer for A level
An ideal buy. October 22, 2009 A. M. Young (Cornwall, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
York Notes is an ideal buy for any Alevel student working on gothic literature...not only is it insightful but it is full of facts and details you would never have thought of.
I would recomend this to anyone working on the Bloody Chamber and gothic literature for their Alevel studies
Wrong book October 11, 2009 G. D. Thornton 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
This book was ordered for my grand daughter who wanted a book containing "The Bloody Chamber". Unfortunately it only contained reader's notes on the story which was not what we required, so it was returned. The whole transaction including supply and return was handled very satisfactorily.
Not a very helpful review, I'm afraid.
useful, but badly set out August 5, 2009 bubble (london) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I found the content of this York Notes book interesting and helpful. Angela Carter is not a writer I was familiar with before & I did learn a lot about her and her writing from the study aid. However I did not like to layout of the book. The headings, colour and arrangement of the contents were at times confusing. Don't let this put you off getting the book though.
